They also had a low datarate to keep the file size small (under 1K). This made is easier for fans to download. But the quality of these videos were horrible. She released many titles on DVD. Those have a little better quality but the were not full screen transfers to disc. When 56K modems hit the market she upgraded to 480P. But she never went pass that. Now, Janet Mason claims she was the first interracial amateur on the internet but Jan and her husband Mike were doing videos long before Janet ever was. They used a bulky VHS camcorder. Because of this nothing on her website was shot in digital until the mid 2000s. I think she was getting fat by then and the videos were still only 480p but a little better quality. By that time she was retiring because Mike passed away. She never remastered any of her videos.
